Flagstone is produced from sedimentary rocks. The tiles are mainly applied to outdoor spaces like patios, driveways and steps. The typical blue color found in natural flagstone is due to the “feldspar” found in it’s structure. The color of flagstone rock is based on the binding material used to form the tile.

Flagstone Floor Care & Maintenance

Do’s -

• Clean spill-ups right away
• Seal flagstone floors since it’s a porous rock
• Place a mat at each doorway
• Use a Microfiber mop to clean floors
• Clean floors regularly

Don’ts -

• Never use bleach, ammonia or vinegar to clean floors made from flagstone
• Don’t use cleaners that are acidic
• Never use an abrasive cleaner or scouring pad.
